KKO is targeting coal bed methane - commonly called coal seam - which is prolific on the East Coast (Surat/Bowen Basin - Curtis Island
Shallow low pressured reservoirs that require significant number of wells to “waft and collect” the gas in interconnected pipelines towards the compressor stations.
Compared to “conventional plays” such as IVZ - which has deeper higher pressure reservoirs with similarities to Perth Basin / North West Shelf offshore.
