Carbon projects the world over are now starting to come under heavy scrutiny. There are a lot of Australian pastoralists that have claimed carbon credits for “rotational stock management practices” that are now no-longer accepting $$.
The management of the forest by not taking firewood has a similar feel about it and may be unlikely to be classified as a genuine carbon offset project.
