The MDT samples by themselves will tell you what produced hydrocarbons to expect during a flow test. They don't tell you much about permeability of the reservoir. That's where having the field log recorded during the pretest and pump out is of value. I suspect that most or all of the samples were collected using the Saturn probe which would suggests to me that permeability might have been low side.

I would question anybody stating confidently that the flow test will flow good rates based purely on the data that has been released so far by IVZ.
