While it would be nice to have an announcement verifying that the liner has been set and cemented if SM is following the ASX rules then the lack of a report can be interpreted as an indication that the liner has been set.
That's my take.
While liners can be tricky things to run I've never been on a well where we've ended up abandoning attempts to run a liner. That includes the early phase drilling on Bayu Undan where we were running long slotted liners with inflatable packers in high angle long reach wells.
