What about this scenario, which has been my line of thinking for the last few weeks.
SM talking up alternate funding was in response to clear manipulation by those looking to get shares cheap at a CR. Knowing the price should be going the other way and flagging to the PACs of this world that there was no guarantee of them getting another bite of the cherry.
However, Scott knew he would have to go to the PACS but wanted to limit dilution and get a higher price to raise at.
I don't think the other sources of funding are BS. I think there are sources there that want to see it flow before throwing $$$ his way-a signed PSA would be the other piece of the jigsaw that would see the alternate sources come our way.
