Deep Yellows Mulga Rock project in WA is still advancing. The only one allowed
i believe. But yes it will take a change in government, really high prices and too
somehow calm down the no-nuke movement which is not very likely. Still stranger
things have happened and with the ever growing demand to remove fossil fuels
world wide, power generation will have to come from somewhere. Wind and solar
can not always provide the solution. Hydro preferable but not all countries are blessed
with the resource or prepared to alter the rivers natural flow to accommodate it.
Coal still provides about 35% of the worlds power, it will not be easy to replace it
with wind and solar or be practical in many countries.
