Although it has been known for some time that BGD had some silver as well as gold, the volume and grade of the silver has now grown to the point where it provides a substantial addition to the project economics, particularly with the forecast increase in the silver price.

This company has never set the world on fire but they have managed their progress methodically and intelligently in a manner which is unfortunately not seen in too many mining companies. Their infrastructure alone is worth probably more than double the current MC, and they have a very well-thought out plan to minimise energy costs and increase profitability.

With the prospect of 130K annual au production within 18 months and a 15+ years mine plan even without further discoveries, this is a company that is really going places.

As an aside to BGD's holdings, next door to BGD a little company called Marmota (MEU) has some very impressive gold deposits (plus uranium and titanium), and although their large near-surface high grade gold deposits are suitable for heap-leaching, it's likely that their deeper deposits will require crushing and grinding, and with BGD's mill right on their doorstep, there appears to be a possibility for BGD to toll-treat their ore, despite the fact that the two companies have had differences in the past.
