The way i see it is that if you buy the options over the heads...

    The way i see it is that if you buy the options over the heads at the moment then you are forking out less $$. eg 1million options at .012 is $12K, 1 million heads at .017 is $17K. so you have spent $5K less so have minimised the risk by $5K. Yes if you converted now at .015 that would be another $15K so total of $27K so does not make a lot of sense because you just paid $10k extra. But if you are planning on holding or trading the options over the next 3 years then it can be of benefit.
    If you hold them and the company has tanked at the end of 3 years then you saved $5K. If the share price is below .027 then you have to way up converting and having paid more in total than if you just bought the heads. If the share price is over .027 then you are better off.
    You guys may be discussing/arguing about something completely different, because it was getting hard to follow, not sure where you are getting the it needs to be above 7.2 cents before your better off?
    and yes, would definitely be better off paying only .005 for options earlier..
