Why do you say that.. the market is very happy, if it wasnt then we would be well red - maybe 2 or 3 pips down.. being up today after such a decent run up is great.

To be up today when:

1. Gold is down
2. ASX sentiment is low - terrible.
3. Commodities sector getting destroyed.. no bounce after EOFY -- carnage has continued with so many stocks down 50% + on the year there are bargains galore!
4. ASX manipulation at new levels with $0 trades, x-trades and complete sector front running whilst ASIX and ASX cheer on the hedge funds through investment bank houses whilst retailers are getting scared away by the hundred.
5. International trade war looming over the global economy (gold should go up but the Australia economy is commodity driven so even when gold goes up stocks go down in this situation!).
6. Peak Real estate event.. no more profits from this sector as it drops and as the decrease accelerates.. ASX equity possibly moving to bargains in real estate!

When all is considered.. i would say today is a blooming good day for BCN, if we make it through today Green its brilliant IMO.. likely the only stock ill hold that wont go down (but the day is still early.. plenty of time for a huge dip across all stocks.. lets face it sentiment is rock bottom most sitting on huge losses across multiple sectors over the last 6 months.
