Glencore aren't going guarantor for Galan and getting a bank involved in the background. Read their most recent HY report on their website. In the half-year to 30 June 2023 they did revenue of US$107B and spent US$1.5B of their own money in various investments. US$90M is small fry to them, but they're still a giant commodity trader so they'll get the very best terms for themselves, considering their upside is in the margin they hope to capture for the first five years of production.
