Some sanity prevails this morning with stock price climbing in response to a spectacular 1HY result. Despite BSL's ultra conservative forecast for 2HY, I am hopeful for some analyst upgrades coming through as market conditions hold strong. Something tells me this cycle is a little stronger and longer than previous cycles.
The 13% increase in domestic sales volume in 1HY, should continue into 2HY. With reported earnings at 329.1 cps, I still believe that FY reported earning can reach $6. That means we are currently trading on a P/E of a little over 3. I know it is a cyclical industry, but that is still a very low historical P/E for BSL.
I am in for a circa $26 share price and a P/E above 4 over the next 4 months. I expect some profit upgrades from BSL over the next 3 months.
