Looks like Imbio received TGA approvals in late calendar year 2021 for their Lung Density Analysis (LDA) and Lung Texture Analysis (LTA) products, but probably never got around to commercialising it in Australia - presumably due to competing demands for capital. 4DX has the know-how and networks to get this to market quickly (synergies) - with all their learnings to date and existing contracts.
What's interesting is the LTA which yesterday was announced will be used by the VA in the context of lung cancer screening. Well, in Australia, we've got the lung cancer screening funded and due to start in the near future. We can sell this to the govt as an additional tool in the screening process along with our XV technology - to give a comprehensive picture of the patient's lungs.
