BSL typically trades on low forward p/es. Comsec has it at $2.44 in F27(albeit cyclical earnings). todays result probably reinforced that high earnings mark.
issue is Trump is only there for this term and expires in 2028, so eventually the earnings will go back down once the tariffs get unwound in 2029. There are other factors in play. He may even remove the tariffs during the term if theres some sort of deal. I dont see businesses paying over the top for steel.
