Interesting that between pages 18 and 20, BGA's increase in EBITDA margin to 6.8 per cent for its important branded division is still short of what it expects. I'm unsure how in a challenging consumer environment this can improve further. Perhaps further supply chain rationalisation is on the cards?
The 'review' of Peanut Company of Australia has been ongoing for many months, as it was previously featured. No result is apparent.
The 14 per cent increase in statutory EPS compared to overall revenue growth of just three per cent is excellent. BGA always said its transformation would take at least three years IIRC.
