I think its not a bad time to get in whilst the price has dropped. Yes they took a hit due to COVID shutting down restaurants, but they've shown they have pivoted direction with some success. Because of the shutdown they have excess stock which they still have to maintain and feed which has made the books look bad, but this will iron out as they adjust their future production. I understand its a ~2 year process from egg to harvest, so it's pretty hard to predict things like COVID. It's what they do now which will make or break.
Looks like the council is coming around to the idea of the farm in Whyalla. I wonder what the revised proposal and approach would have been?
