    If COVID19 does become endemic at a significantly lower lethality as a result of the protection afforded by community wide acquired immunity, I think we can expect a return to normalcy across the board in almost every aspect of life. Personally, I fully expect just this. For all practical purposes, COVID is in the rear view mirror.

    Certainly this will mean better access to hospitals and surgeons for the sales and marketing teams, and it may also mean the scheduling of many postponed surgeries. If company revenues are not well outpacing costs six months from now, I’d reassess. But, I think that six months out the company will be back to tracking those old sales and revenue predictions from pre-COVID days.

    If the company has managed to do as well as it has struggling against the COVID headwinds of the past year or more, why the pessimism over what they can accomplish with the wind at their backs?

    Let’s see what the analysts have to say over the next couple weeks.
