From watching the webcast management seem supremely confident that the H2 will provide a stronger finish and the company will at least breakeven for FY. That's why they are continuing to recruit sales people, since they can afford to do so. Also they made a decision to take the money out of property and commit it to growing the business since they obviously feel they can get a better return on the funds by using them to hire more sales staff than from capital appreciation of the property. It was a commercial decision the made not out of desperation. Without the property as collateral the bank would want some of the outstanding loan to be repaid, which also saves interest costs.

Its quite clear that despite DW saying he wants to continue expanding the business by hiring good sales people, it is contingent on the H2 revenues being as good as the forecast. They aren't simply hiring the first available person but they are recruiting talent, even if it takes longer to fill the position. They are aiming for 154 employees by end of June so we will soon know if that is realistic. With over 6m in the bank after the property sale they can in fact afford to carry a few sales people for 6months until they earn back their salary without fear of going broke. But obviously the share price will suffer if they don't meet their targets. Obviously at least one analyst asking questions seemed to take a pessimistic view.
