I don't want to clog up the forum, but could you breifly address the below questions I have on what you listed?

1. Replacement cost: I'm familiar with using replacement value for insurance companies to determine how much an asset is worth.. breifly, how do you apply that to valuing a company like PNV?

2. Multiples are typically used to compare companies that are profit generating and not typically used for loss making companies (multiples are negative) or fast growing tech companies as their multiples can be in the thosands. To demonstrate, what is PNV's multple right now and what could you compare it to?

3. Takeover control premium is the difference between what a company would pay for your company vs the price paid for the company. Do you have recent or relevant acquisitions to use as reference for this? For it to be relevant, you need relevant and ideally recent comparative transactions.

4. Real options analysis is much more acturial based and complex than a DCF. It is typically used to compare projects, where variables are highly in control of management. For this to be relevant to PNV, management must be able to turn off costs and pivot on a dime. It assumes that the business can take advantage of the optimal decision at each decision point. Valuations derived from this are typically inflated and highly dependent (moreso than DCF) on the accuracy of the inputs and ability of management to control all variables of the business (typically project). Do you know of any ROA's used to value PNV ? I'd like to look at one.
