In the next Commonwealth budget we are likely to see greater assistance to the hospitals even though they are State responsibilities. More government support for hospitals will benefit equipment and management support systems. Two beneficiaries will be BMT and PGC. The Covid experience has shown us that the community will appreciate an improved emergency response capacity so there are votes in hospitals.
