And you are absolutely right.
Integra has been around for years. It is being used for the indications it is good at, but it's use is extremely limited by risk of infection.
So PNV should take that whole share of the market, there's no real reason I can think of that they wouldn't.
Then there's a whole other, much larger market available for us to conquer. My reasoning is that many chronic wounds are infected, most large burns become infected, many wounds that require large debridements and grafting require this due to infection. Infection is an absolute contraindication to integra use. Not BTM.
But then again it requires looking up the right tickers to start looking into all these details. And I would absolutely look into all of this before I tried lecturing people on a forum.
