as long as you learnand one of the key lessons I didn't learn early enough (I'm at the other end of the age spectrum to you) is when to cut your losses and run (or put the money to better use elsewhere) - as I said I've been in this for 16 years and managed to get my avg down to $1.16 - overweight by a long way and ready to go - of course as soon as I do they're rerate closer to what we all think they're worth! glta, dyor, swag etc etc
