Look at the EPS, that slumped. Look at how the businesses are performing profit wise compared to Paragon and Quantum were doing before merger. The businesses are underperforming. The presentation highlights some growth, highlights opportunities but is short on details on which parts are struggling and why. Also ROIC of only 8.7% and that took some real tricks to turn it into a figure that high.
Unfortunately the market has this one right at the moment. And more M&A should be a frightening prospect.
Hopefully those growth opportunities come to pass and 2nd half profitability improves.
