Earnings per Share is a "time based measure divided by a point in time measure". It is not inappropriate to annualize earnings by notionally doubling first half profit; E.P.S. becomes $0.203.

$0.203 does not include 12 months contribution from Specialist Medical Supplies; only approx 8 months by my reckoning!
Market hates small caps at the moment.
