I agree. Initially it was for burns which is commendable but the market is not huge. Swami and co are expanding into traumatic hand injuries often workers compensation cases. in times gone by a traumatic injury would be debrided and given a dressing and reviewed in time and then grafted if no infection. Now they can use our product which forms a dermal skin base , fills the gap and readies the situation for better graft take, less rejection. The diabetic foot space is huge and a challenge. Surgeons will love this product to fill the space and prepare for grafting . DFU , ulcers, is a sunami which needs treating. DW in the recent past alluded to ortho surgeons approaching him to discuss rotator cuff treatment with our product. Present treatment in the elderly is not too successful and is costly and involves an anaesthetic often in the beach chair sitting position which is dangerous in the old. BTM could be inserted under ultrasound guidance to the tear area with minimum anaesthetic , it would be interesting to get feed back from DW and data from surgeons.
