What a shocking result? So the company by Irving's admission can never make money unless interest rates go up (if a boom happens, I will be in other equities than CPU) and USD depreciates against the AUD (all brokers & everyone thought that USD appreciation compared to AUD was good for CPU). Why the share market thought CPU's result was good, amazes any outsider, the trading ahead of announcement would instigate an investigation into front running/ trading ahead in any other country on any other exchange but for the ASX, compliance regulation is a tale told by an idot foreigner, why would u need compliance. CPU's SP went down just the last few days, why? Did anyone know something? Someone obviously knew 2day's result was beyond a CPU holder's wildest nightmare.
And they mismanaged MPL's float but then again Cormann picked the wrong registry like he picked the lame duck Abbott for PM in preference to Turnbull.
