I use Freelancer to outsource work that i need done. I use the same few people that I keep in contact with.. (chat windows in there stay so contacting them directly is easy.) If i need to find new people, all i need to do is just start a competition..."filling in the form" takes me 1 min.. Bids come in a few minutes later. I'd usually wait a day depending on how urgent i need the work done, and if there was any clarifications with a particular person i'd just chat with him/her prior to nominating him as the chosen one. User experience wise there is no problem from my end of things - From starting a job, to nominating the bidder, to paying (fair escrow system and fast transaction release).

They've made it so easy i dont know how easier can it get to be honest. It's already rather dumbproof. Maybe it needs to be brainlessproof for people like Walt to appreciate it.

I tried upwork but couldn't find anyone reliable. So im sticking with Freelancer.
