LD99 has posted what I think is the real problem for some investors. The negative NTA is a big no-no for quite a few investors which tends to create a lack of buying volume and interest. If they keep acquiring businesses with a fair amount of goodwill that problem will stay with them for quite a while despite whatever wonderful metrics they produce.There is also the fact that a lot of the short term traders will seek out what appears to be some really good potential in the issue of the next report and when it does not immediately produce a profitable SP increase they are out. That seems to be a new trend in the market - particularly at the small end of the market. Seemed to have increased during the Covid period when a lot of newbies entered (maybe not much else to do) and it has stayed with us.
