Well, if Synlait do a capital raise, A2M would need to participate in order to maintain its 19.9% holding.
Yes ... and interesting year for Synlait re: debt reduction due dates .... It still begs the question why A2M are holding circa $800 million in the bank even if it is all earmarked for Synlait given they could take the whole debt out and still have plenty left in the tank ? The first prepayment of $130 million due by 31 March is approaching fast so a CR can't be far off if that is going to be the solution ?
