good point re tax losses and market cap. the other side of buying losers is that unless you have a plan to profitability,you are buying a liability that will be a drag on the P&L.
Has BUBs ever turned a profit? have the BUBs issues with their former CEO been resolved? is there a risk of adverse publicity and litigation? maybe there are reasons why it's market cap is $100m.
I would rather see 100m.spent on marketing to the elderly/US FDA, US marketing and the release of new products ie the recent new formula release announcement
if Nestle etc pick up BUBs they will have a drain on their P&L and not much to show for it. Nestle market share in China is way behind A2M. Nestle is better off buying out A2M and actually getting to top 5 spot in China
