It's not meant to be a crystal ball revealing what shorters will do in the future. It simply shows their positions as they are now – or to be precise, what they were 4 days ago. New positions will always be taken, short and long, depending on sentiment.
I think WEB is a sound company with good management, outlook and strategy. Naturally, there will be global events and company missteps that hit the share price, as is the case with every company. My general rule is: If the shorts are high, don't buy. Despite WEB being one of the most shorted stocks since 2020, I have the same opinion of it as I did when I loaded up at the CR of that year, when shorters were betting on it collapsing. My thinking is they've been burned big time as as result of WEB's steady rise since then. While they've certainly helped the recent smashing of the share price, I don't think the fundamentals of the company have changed at all.
