It's because the tourism industry is volatile. Derivative traders love this shit because how much prices are affected by geopolitical and economic factors to cause large moves in either direction.
On the other hand, sell side Equity Research analysts try to avoid covering this sector because of how much crap in the markets / news they have to keep an eye on 24/7 for their clients.
You should view volatility as your friend that creates opportunities.
As for the 1H25 update announcement, we wont really know the full picture until 20th November. Until then, I'd be watching for any updates coming out their industry peers and airlines to gain some sort of idea.
