I was in a bunnings yesterday looking for WD40 and CRC 56 spray... the tool section had been totally revamped. I asked where the WD40 was..he said it was down the end of the store in the Automotive section. What?? Yep, he said they had to revamp the whole tool section cos now anything "car related" was being put into the new auto section.. so yeah, it's a real thing. Pretty smart if they can get in on it. If they figure out the most popular items that the average person needs to buy while they are at a bunnings, they will steal some business from supercheap and autobarn.. But I dont think it will affect Bapcor stores in the slightest. Bapcor tends to cater to mechanical workshops in their nearby areas and they sell specialised items (in some cases) and deal ONLY with autoproducts, so you can call and cross reference part numbers etc etc. I don't see Bunnings doing that, ever.

Now, if BAPCOR wanted to get in on the Bunnings products.. add some pot plants and pallets of soil mix out the front, maybe they might take away from Bunnings bottom line? (that last bit was a joke... )

(i sold my BAP but still follow it )
