I'm not disagreeing I'm just pointing out that using short term price movements doesn't prove anything and the last time you did that you were proven very wrong.
I don't really care about how other businesses failed, you can look at any number of industries and find hundreds of businesses failed where others succeeded, If you really use that as a metric of when to invest and not invest I would reconsider doing so.
"There is no sensible basis for the SP or its movement." Yes we live in a world of speculative investing, look at bitcoin or Tesla. People don't care about underlying value anymore they care about hype and momentum. And constantly harping on about it isn't going to change anything.
