Sayona would just sell the Quebec division to Tesla and keep the northern hub for itself (Moblan, et al). With the proceedings from the sale, Sayona could then build a LioH plant at Saguenay (since POSCO/GM is already building one in Becancour). Having a chemical plant would turn Sayona into a big boy, able to gobble up smaller players.
