Yes, I was watching the stock when they were constructing and commissioning the gold project, but only bought in after they initially spun it off. The gold mine startup went quite well and I was hoping GCO would go the same way ... little did I realise! It was one hell of a slide downwards to 20c! Should have sold early, but then it gets to the point where it isn't worth much anyway - so might as well hold. I took a risk in doubling down at 20c - but could easily have lost the lot. These days I try to stick to the bigger companies, but will keep holding MDL and BSE for another few months at least.
