    I'm inclined to agree. If there's a good underlying business but the share price has suffered from a share raising or a cyclic downturn (or both in the case of MDL) there's a good opportunity to invest. Every case is different of course and it's not without risk, but that's the only way I've consistently found works in the past 8 years I've been playing this game of educated gambling ...

    One thing MDL has taught me is to be wary of investing in companies with a major project in construction. I guess they interest me as it's the field I work in, but I should also know that cost overruns and delayed ramp ups are the norm. Better to capitalise when they are close to the goal, but short of funds and need to raise capital ...
