I was trying to post a report website which was seeking signatures for a petition to the proper authorities in order to curb BOT selling and Shorting of stocks, however I think the website was blocked due to some issues.

my logic about algorithmic trading is if it doesnt influence the market why do it?
short answer - it must influence trading otherwise they would not do it - even to attempt to do this is illegal!!!
so the market is being illegally influenced to the detriment of investors by small trades that would be uneconomic for the normal trader
