Yea it’s exciting, I’ve emailed the MERN geologist who studied that area for confirmation on whether that generic description of spodumene actually applies to every one of the “favourable” Senay pegmatites.
And I have a theory about the genetic/spatial relationships between the nearby rocks of the pegs that I’ll probably post this week. Seems like a bit of anatexis/assimilation of surrounding metasedimentary (biotite/garnet paragneiss) from magma intruding through the Voirdye formation, which may have created the S-type granitic pegs of the Senay suite
