    "Announcement of the $3.8m order was made on 1 April."

    It was announced on the 31st March. The company previously stated money would be paid up front. Hence it was disgraceful they didn't mention in the announcement if the money was indeed paid upfront as it would have a significant bearing on the qtrly revenue.
