Hey Was, yes it is a very different set of circumstance, and i not suggesting the same sort of "misleading" conduct has occurred
But some may validly suspect that there has still been heaps of "misleading" /pure bull s*** going on nevertheless.

I was just pointing to a current (rare) case in this cowboy cannabis sector where shareholders are actually demanding a bit of redress and accountability. - and wondering whether that general principle could apply here.

My personal opinion (only) is that a number of companies in this sector have been the subject of gross mismanagement. Some egregiously so.
It would not be unreasonable to also question whether some of this crosses over into "malfeasance" or various other forms of dishonest conduct.

I guess it depends on what shareholders expect/demand as their standards - and if they want any accountability.... at all.
