Whether this has come about through hysteria or desperation, it is still a good move by management.

What remains to be seen is if more moves like this are to come. Additionally, if these moves can calm the storm that a not-so-independent board has created.

If more decisions like this are implemented, this company has a path forward. It is a gamble for investors though. Large buys are coming through on the market, which shows some confidence from multiple investors and in contrast to the three usual protesters on this platform.

Hopefully, future performance backs up the confidence.
