Lack of accountability can kill companies big and small. Shareholders cannot afford to have people who represent their own agenda, without any focus on their job description.
Happens all over the place, from local independent retailers to major corporations. At the end of the day I wouldn’t care either if someone was paying me to do a job I didn’t care about. Ultimately at the end of the day it is the shareholders who suffer.

You logic is flawed as you can not be the king and not die by your sword. Can’t have it both ways mate.
