The funny thing is that we've only seen the tip of the iceburg with this profit result. Next years profit could be multiples more along with a hefty dividend.
BTA are on track, a small hiccup with RSV but then again that's life for Phase I products. HCV is a massive market but it's WAY too early to get excited, apart from I guess milestone payments.
My favourite hidden gem in the portfolio is BTA798... a cure for the common cold. What a gem of a product that could turn out to be. Do you know how many doctors prescribe antibiotics to people with the cold even though it doesn't make an ounce of difference?
