    I think you guys are to negative ASB US .
    Currently its transitioning to real navy vessels as in 'steel' subs,frigates etc.
    Imo tariffs will not effect US steel prices as tariffs should easily be countered by the reduction in US domestic energy pricing..
    ,US energy policy will also lower ASB costs as energy is the life blood of industry.
    Lower red tape,co tax.
    Imo US industry will/is more than happy with the industry friendly policies just ask brickworks,orica and all Australian industries moving operations ,expanding US operations from Australia to the US..

    I'm very positive US economy and would probably buy ASB but for ASB Australian operations due to energy costs,red tape and IR's.
    etc etc .
    Its just beginning as the US ASB facility continues to expand and it appears to me HII and general dynamics electric boats are more than happy to work with /provide contracts to ASB US.
    A major priority for the US govt and US navy is to increase the submarine /ship building industrial base and ASB will be the second largest US navy builder well behind HII but still the 2nd largest.
    There thats my opinion.
