Maybe it is not really shorters after all. Those at the company with access to the share register will know exactly where the steady selldown over recent months has come from and the likely motivation for it - there are only certain sellers just under the 5% reporting threshold with the scale & slyness to take this from >$5 to ~$2 and to do so still profitably.

Maybe it is a holder who is trying to use the decline as leverage for more marketing services work to pump it back up, which to date has perhaps been denied to them? The sort of outfit who perhaps has a few trolls they deploy on social media sites to spread FUD regularly to feed the illusion of retail abandonment that only “continuous stock promotion spend” can fix?

Time will tell, and the sun will shine again - the light from which is always the best disinfectant. IMO. DYOR. GLTAH etc etc etc
