i wish they would give franking. however i dont think GPT (or any AREIT) can because they are a stapled security not an FPO (fully paid ordinary share)
no offence WB but i disagree with you on buy in price being revelant. while of course there is nothing wrong with your arguement of buy and hold winners with g8 div excellent, however if i can sell a past winner and move to another that hasnt run yet and that becomes a winner than original ROI multiplies and to take the your theory further if i bought TLS at $7 should i sell just because ROI div is 4% as apposed to current SP div of 10% ?? of course not! it must be studied on all current information i am an investor not trader but i am just trying to be a little more aggressive with my portfolio and tinkering with it to maximise returns both cap gain and yield
