re: Ann: 2011 Santos Investor Seminar Present... having a look at STO presos it's a much more complex beast so if choosing to stay in the stock may require a bit of fundamental analysis!
Major difference is the earnings potential vs exploration/resource success which was what we were all about back at ESG..
IMHO we are actually into STO at a bit of a sweet spot..in other words, the rising price of oil vs the weakening AUS $ is adrenalin for earnings and has not really been priced in + the many exploration projects they have on the go + stealing ESG + dividend etc etc
Will the market see it this way who knows but I'm happy with STO for $13.09
I am wondering if there will be a bit of a stampede for the exit when all the ESG shares convert and trade on market.. i reckon there wil be 50-70M new STO shares to trade..should be interesting
