impressive performance from the australian legacy business.
they got stitched up properly buying the malt business.
just got to write off the money they wasted paying too much [and the shareprice of gnc has done that and more]
good profit stream now based on 8 buck shareprice. even in a gfc people eat and drink beer.
could still be a takeover target if the super funds don't start looking past the next quarters prospects.
in 10 years time in a food constrained world,gnc will be controlling a valuable part of the soft commodity story.just probably be overseas owned by then
