I don't see why they are filing suit. Whatever they are going to get from the lawsuit, if anything, will likely be peanuts. Perhaps it will be 20M though and I will have to eat my hat.
Look, my sense is that the government is going to keep giving agricultural grants to companies like CSS. AUS commodities are gonna get smashed in the next 24 months. After that, the gov will be eager to diversify exports. Considering this, CSS can count on government support, so I don't see the point of this lawsuit other than maybe just the principal of it. I am very long on CSS and intend to get more so. The AUSD is gonna fall to .60 vs the USD and CSS's exports should do well. I am not happy though to see them possibly churning up bad blood.
