IMHO traditional macro network refers to the Larger Cell tower installations that have been traditionally used for 3/4/lte installs. Ideal for larger areas with less population (suburbs)

Large high powered, longish range, large number of concurrent calls.

Whether they will be installed by TPG or shared existing architecture I'm not sure.

The Small cell idea is lots more smaller sites, shorter range, fewer subs which will provide benefits for citys/high density areas allows for frequency reuse, can be for a single building or a small area.
